Nope, that´s not it either! What I´m talking about looks exactly like spaghetti, only much thinner & flatter. It´s served like spaghetti, but instead of a sauce, its covered in a simple syrup (water, sugar, cinnamon & nutmeg) and you sprinkle toaste…

I think you may be thinking of halawet el jibn, that is a wonderful string cheese dessert, it can be served alone in string pieces or rolled with a custard ashta filling. Check out the recipe on my site and let me know. Dede

Hi Stephanie. I think I'm looking for the exact recipe you are too. It's a noodly, but I think it's made just from cheese somehow..and served with syrup on it. It remains white and not filled with anything...I love this recipe. Wish I could find it…

Thank you ,Mark, but that´s the recipe for traditional k´naffe. The one I mention in my post is made with Soft noodles, it´s not filled with cheese, either. Just soft nodles and simple syrup, topped with toasted pine nuts. What I need is the recipe…
