I am just a mother whose family loves garlic sauce, and since we moved to the country we have to make our own & invite our friends over to enjoy your recipe. We used to live in a multicultrural area and we enjoyed SHAWAMA"S with authentic garlic sauce. One SHAWAMA place went out of business because most of the people here are meat & potatoes with no spice. Totally different from where we came from. We enjoyed a variety of delicaices from around the world, and now, we have to create our favorites.

Hi Maggie, thank you for joining the social. I am really glad to hear that you love Garlic sauce just like my husband. I can understand the spice thing. I live in Orange county and unlike LA county only 30 miles a part, there people are really open to the taste of Mediterranean, not to say orange county is not, but its like your place meat and potatoes mostly here.
