Well, I'm not sure that honey mustard and ranch is Mediterranean, but it could be a type of gallaba, which is Middle Eastern stir fry with a tomato sauce. I will be making this soon, but in the mean time you can just cook some some chicken olive oil…

HI Cindi, it's the same recipe, it's just when you soak the chick peas and fava beans they double in size. If you don't have fava beans you can just use chick peas as well. If you want to bake them then just preheat the oven to 450 degrees and spray…

I think you may be thinking of halawet el jibn, that is a wonderful string cheese dessert, it can be served alone in string pieces or rolled with a custard ashta filling. Check out the recipe on my site and let me know. Dede

Hi Ladies, wonderful tips! Leanne, your method is exactly like my recipe, and yes, letting the dough rise a 2nd time is very important, you can even let it rise a 3rd time after you roll out the pitas as well to ensure it puffs up :) Dede

HI Faheem I think spring roll sheets may be too thick, but you can definitely give it a try and let me know how it turns out. You can try to use 2 sheets of puff pastry if you can't find phyllo dough, use one layer for the bottom, add the nuts and…

LOL thanks! That makes me feel SO good especially coming from you! I do not cook that much food on a daily basis that was for a large party and it took me two days to be prepared for that, but you helped me so THANK YOU! I do cook daily for my husband but not that much food (lol) and I have you to thank for really teaching me Arabic food, you are a staple in my kitchen.

You have no idea how long I have been looking for an English speaking Arabic cook, recipes, something – anything. I stumbled upon you by accident off Google and thank God I did because you have made sense of all these Arabic recipes I have had for years and all the spices from over seas. Seriously you have no idea what a life saver you are and you make everything so simple, tasty, beautiful, and more.

I wish you nothing but the best and I can't wait to see you on TV and to buy a recipe book. I share your website with everyone that asks me how to make something, I even have friends and family from over seas that come here and ask me how to make a dish which I learned from you, and I send them to your site. I and my friends and family are some of your biggest fans so you have support from Oklahoma, Texas, Syria and Lebanon. Thanks again.

BTW: I love your pilot, the new hummus with meat video, the new kitchen, and the new look - all is awesome!

Hello dede: I am sure you have heard this so many times, but your videos are really helpful and informative. I have really learned so much from you. I, of course was taught the basics by my husband, but he is not a syrian wife, so I am trying to learn everything I can from your videos. You can not know what a blessing it is for me to be able to make the foods from my husband's country. This makes my husband not miss home or his mother so much. THANK YOU!
