Where to buy fresh mozzarella
Where to buy fresh mozzarella in dearborn Mi? I looked in some stores and cant find any. all i really find is the shredded mozzarella cheese.. someone please help me out I am trying to get the ingredients for Halawet el jibn Thank you sooo much :0)

Hi there neighbor...I'm from Dearborn Heights =) I always get my fresh mozzarella cheese from restaurant depot. They also have very nice fresh Mozzarella at Wal-mart (deli section) or at Krogers. I hope this helps. Goodluck on making the halawet il-jibin. I just learned how to make it and it is pretty hard at first but once u learn how to make it, all the hard work will pay off, i promise! Just be patient. Take care =)

THere is an Italian grocery store located next to Dearborn city hall, I can't think of the name but they have amazing fresh mozzarella cheese. It is located on Schaefer past Michigan Avenue...check it out, you'll love it :)

Thanx Dede I bought some from kroger it was 8.95 for 16oz in the bag.. I wil check out the italian store though when i make it again.. this first time the cheese was a lil hard still I think i might not have stir it enough to make it smooth and stretch more :0) Thank you.

Hopeangeleyes Hey neighbor :0) lol it is nice to have other people around the dearborn area :0) i havent seen to many yet but im still meeting new people on here. and Thank you for the reply i looked at the walmart on ford rd and mercury but i just couldnt find it but i did find some at kroger soo i tried the halawet el jibn is turned out good but the cheese wasnt as smooth and stretchy soo hoepfully the next time i get it better :0) Thank you..
